Hahnemühle DFA Monet Canvas 400GSM 29.7cmx42CM(A3) 20

Hahnemühle DFA Monet Canvas 400gsm A3, 20 sheets | Plan A3 canvas prints with a defined sheet format

On a screen, you can change an image’s size in a moment; a physical print asks you to settle on a format and presentation. Hahnemühle DFA Monet Canvas is a canvas paper option for that more considered step. The pack contains 20 sheets in A3, each measuring 29.7 × 42 cm, with a stated weight of 400 gsm. It suits photographers and image-makers preparing prints on a named canvas stock, whether for a personal project or a selection of work to share. The A3 sheet gives you a clear boundary for planning the image, and the weight is a useful detail to keep in mind as you organise a print run. It’s a practical format when you want several sheets on hand for a series, rather than working from a single sheet at a time.

Planning an A3 print

Before printing, compare the proportions of your image with the proportions of the sheet. If they differ, decide whether you’d rather crop the image or leave space around it; that choice can change the way the final print feels. It’s also worth setting up a proof of an important image before preparing a full series, so you can review the framing and overall result in person. The 20-sheet pack gives you room to plan multiple prints, but the right number to use depends on your project. Keep the intended image and presentation in mind when preparing your files, and treat the sheet size as part of the composition rather than an afterthought.
