Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 310GSM 91.4cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 310GSM 91.4cmx12m | Wide-roll photo paper for considered prints

Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 310GSM 91.4cmx12m is a 310gsm photo paper roll, 91.4cm wide and 12m long. It’s aimed at photographers and print studios planning prints from a roll rather than selecting individual sheets. The wide format gives you room to lay out larger images or arrange several prints across the width, while the stated weight makes this a substantial paper option. The product name is specific about the paper and its format, so you can assess those details against the work you have in mind. It’s best suited to print jobs where that roll width and paper weight are the deciding factors. One practical point: plan your image layout around the available width before starting a run, especially if you’re working with a series of differently sized prints. That keeps the roll format central to your planning.

Planning around a roll

A roll gives you a different way to think about print layout than a stack of fixed-size sheets. You can plan the width of each print, consider how images might share a length of paper, and decide how much material a run calls for. For a single wide image, the 91.4cm width is the key measurement to work into your layout. For a group of prints, sketching the arrangement first can help you make sensible use of the roll. The 12m length gives you a clear quantity to plan against; how much you use will depend on the dimensions and spacing of your prints. If you’re choosing paper for a particular project, start with the required print size and compare it with the roll dimensions and 310gsm weight. That’s the concrete information this product gives you for making the selection.
