Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 152.4cmx12m

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 152.4cmx12m | A wide roll for photographic prints

For photographic prints that need room to spread across the page, this wide-format paper gives you a long working length. Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 152.4cmx12m is photo paper supplied in a 152.4 cm by 12 m format, with a stated weight of 315 gsm. That makes it a practical option for photographers and print studios planning sizeable images or a run of prints from a roll, rather than a small stack of individual sheets. The Baryta name is part of the product designation; the title also identifies it as Photo Rag paper. If you’re choosing media for a specific image, begin with the finished print dimensions and allow for any crop or border you want. The useful point here is the combination of a broad width and a full 12 metres of material. It gives you space to plan the output around the image, instead of starting with a fixed sheet size.

Planning your print run

Before committing to a long image or a series, work out how each print will sit across the available paper width. Consider the image orientation, intended crop and any border you want to leave around the picture. For a batch, sketching a simple layout can help you see how the images might be arranged along the roll and keep your print plan consistent. It’s a straightforward step, but it can save time when you’re preparing several photographs for a display or portfolio. This format is especially relevant when your planned output calls for a broad sheet or repeated prints from a continuous length. Choose it with those finished dimensions in mind, rather than treating it like a small pack of cut paper. The name and stated weight give you a clear starting point for comparing it with the other papers in your workflow.
