Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic 24''ROLL 12 M

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic 24''ROLL 12 M | A long roll for metallic photo prints

Your prints get a metallic character on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic, a photo paper supplied as a 24-inch-wide roll measuring 12 metres. That format gives you a continuous length of paper rather than a set of individual sheets, which can be useful when you’re planning a series of prints or need to work with different image lengths. It’s aimed at photographers and printmakers looking for paper with a metallic look, especially when that surface quality is part of the intended presentation. The name is clear about the two key points: this is Photo Rag Metallic, and it comes on a long roll. Think about the width and total length alongside the prints you have in mind; those are the practical details that will shape how this paper fits your workflow. It’s a straightforward option to consider when the metallic finish is the reason you’re choosing a paper.

Planning around the roll

A roll format asks for a little more planning than buying paper as individual sheets. Before starting a print run, it helps to decide which images you want to make and how much paper you expect to use. The 24-inch width gives you one fixed dimension to work around, while the 12-metre length tells you the total supply in the roll. That makes it easier to think in terms of a planned run rather than a pack count.

Keep the product name in mind when comparing paper for a particular image: Photo Rag Metallic is the version identified here, not simply a generic photo-paper roll. If you’re drawn to a metallic appearance in your finished prints, this is the defining point of the product. The honest practical note is that a roll is most helpful when its width and length suit the prints you actually intend to make.
