Hama Charging Cable USB-C - USB-C 60 W 2 M Black

Hama Charging Cable USB-C - USB-C 60 W 2 M Black | A longer reach for charging

It’s annoying when a charging cable leaves your device awkwardly close to the socket. This Hama cable gives you 2 metres to work with, with a USB-C plug at each end and a 60 W power rating. That makes it a practical option for a USB-C charging setup where a little extra reach helps: at a desk, beside a sofa or near a bedside table. The black finish keeps the cable visually understated, too. Its job is refreshingly simple: connect two USB-C ports for charging, without adding another connector type to the setup. One honest point: the cable’s 60 W rating doesn’t by itself set the charging speed. The charger and the device also affect how quickly a connected device charges.

Choosing a cable for your setup

Before choosing this cable, think about the two ends you need to connect. Both are USB-C, so it suits a charging arrangement with a USB-C port on the charger side and a USB-C port on the device side. The 2-metre length gives you more freedom to place a device while it’s connected, though the best spot still depends on where your power source is. That can make everyday charging less fiddly when a shorter lead would keep a phone or other device right beside the socket. The 60 W rating is the figure to keep in mind when matching the cable to your charging equipment; the full setup determines the result. If your charging arrangement calls for USB-C at both ends and you want a longer cable, this Hama model keeps the choice uncomplicated.
