Hama Filter PL Circulair 67mm 72567
Hama Filter PL Circulair 67mm 72567 | Tame glare and deepen colour
Reduce distracting reflections and bring more depth to skies and colours with a polarizing filter. The Hama Filter PL Circulair 67mm 72567 is a 67mm circular polarizing filter for photographers who want more control over reflected light in a scene. Rotate the filter to vary the effect: reflections from surfaces such as water or glass can become less prominent, while a blue sky may look deeper and foliage more vivid. It’s particularly useful for landscapes, travel photos and scenes with bright reflected light, where glare can hide detail or wash out colour. The result depends on the light’s direction and the angle of the filter, so a small adjustment can make a noticeable difference. A polarizer also reduces the light reaching the camera, so you may need to compensate with exposure settings. It’s a practical tool when you want to manage reflections at the point of capture.
Specialist Note
The 67mm ring gives you a direct way to adjust the polarizing effect: turn it while watching reflections and colour in the viewfinder or on your screen. I’d suggest this Hama for someone photographing water, shop windows or a bright landscape, especially when reflected glare is taking attention away from the subject. For water, rotate until the surface reflection eases and more detail beneath it becomes visible; for a sky, adjust while looking at the frame rather than expecting the same effect in every direction. One point to keep in mind: the filter reduces incoming light, so allow for that when setting exposure. Its 67mm size is the key fit to match.
