Hama High Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet 15m In Plastic Bag
Hama High Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet 15m In Plastic Bag | Reach a display across the room
For sending a 4K picture from an HDMI source to a display set some distance away, the Hama High Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet 15m gives you a long cable run to work with. Its 15-metre length can help when the two devices need to sit at opposite ends of a room rather than side by side. The cable is labelled High Speed, 4K and Ethernet, making it suited to setups where those are the connection requirements. It’s a straightforward option for a home viewing arrangement, a meeting space or another installation where you need to route HDMI over a longer distance. The cable is black and supplied in a plastic bag. Before laying it, think through the route between your devices so you can make good use of the available length without leaving excess cable across a walkway.
Plan the route
Measure the path the cable will actually follow, not just the straight-line distance between the source and display. Allow for the route around furniture or along a wall, and consider where the cable will enter each device. This makes it easier to judge whether 15 metres suits your room layout.
Specialist Note
The 15-metre run changes where you can place your screen: the HDMI source can sit well away from it, instead of needing a spot right beside the display. I’d consider this cable for a screen on the far wall or for a room where the source equipment needs to stay together elsewhere. Its 4K designation is relevant if a 4K picture is part of your setup; measure the route first and keep the cable path practical. The black colour is unobtrusive along a dark edge or behind furniture. One thing to keep in mind: the extra reach gives you placement flexibility, but it doesn’t improve picture quality by itself.
