Hama ODT-Adapter TosLink-Plug - TosLink-Coupling Gold Plated 90°

Hama ODT-Adapter TosLink-Plug - TosLink-Coupling Gold Plated 90° | Give a TosLink connection a right-angle turn

A straight TosLink connection can be awkward when the cable needs to run in a different direction. This Hama ODT adapter provides a 90-degree turn, with a TosLink plug and TosLink coupling, so you can make that change at the connection point rather than routing the cable straight out. It’s for anyone whose setup uses a TosLink connection and would benefit from a right-angle adapter. The connector is gold plated and black. Its job is specific: joining a TosLink plug through a coupling while changing the direction of the connection. It isn’t a length of cable or a general-purpose audio adapter; the appeal is this particular connector format and angle. If a straight connection suits your layout, you may not need an angled adapter. But where the cable needs to turn, this small connector offers a straightforward way to do it.

The useful detail here is the combination of the connector types: a TosLink plug and a TosLink coupling. That makes the adapter relevant when you need those two ends joined at an angle. The 90-degree shape describes the turn at the connection; it doesn’t mean the cable itself is included or that its route is fixed after the adapter. You can position the connected cable according to your setup. The black finish keeps the adapter visually simple, while the gold plating is part of the connector description. For a shop-floor check, I’d focus on those basics: TosLink at both sides, with a right-angle form. This is a small, specific accessory rather than a replacement cable.
