HP Produc Mat Post Pap 160G/M2 914 mm

HP Production Matte Poster Paper 160 g/m², 914 mm | Matte paper for poster work

Choosing paper for a poster can be a small but important decision: the surface and width need to suit the job, and vague product names don’t make that easier. This HP paper is identified as matte poster paper, with a stated weight of 160 g/m² and a width of 914 mm. That gives you a clear starting point when the brief calls for a matte finish and a specific wide format. It suits print buyers and designers who already know those requirements and want to select paper by its actual format and weight, rather than by a vague description. The useful thing here is the straightforward combination of poster paper, matte surface and a stated width. There’s no need to read more into the title than that: it tells you the key details for matching the paper to your planned poster size.

Choosing this paper

Start with the finished poster dimensions. The stated 914 mm is the paper width, so compare it with the width your artwork needs; the title doesn’t give a length. The other concrete figure is 160 g/m², the paper’s stated grammage. If that weight and the matte surface fit your print brief, this product gives you those details plainly. “Matte” describes the surface finish, while “poster paper” identifies the intended paper type. Those are useful distinctions when you’re narrowing down a paper choice, but they don’t tell you how a particular image will look or how it will behave in a particular printer. For that reason, base your selection on the format and finish your job calls for, rather than assuming additional properties from the product name. It’s a specific paper description, not a promise about results across every setup.
