The Ilford Hypam 5 Liter is a non-hardening, user-friendly, and rapid fixer. Delivered as a liquid concentrate, it facilitates the fixation of all sorts of black and white films, darkroom papers and can be processed manually or using a machine. Hypam's versatility signifies that it is also applicable for fixing other specialized elements such as X-ray films, Ilford scientific products, and graphic art commodities.
A single 5-liter bottle of Hypam concentrate can cater to a decent quantity of fixer solution necessary for processing various items – 600 x 135-36 black and white films, 2000 x 20.3x25.4 cm RC prints, or 1000 x 20.3x25.4 cm FB prints. Notably, Hypam does not contain any hardener.
