Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 195gsm 152,4cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 195gsm 152,4cm x 30m | A wide roll for photo printing

The defining choice here is a satin surface: Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper is made for photo printing where you want that finish rather than a different paper surface. It comes as a 152.4cm-wide, 30m roll, so it’s aimed at print jobs that need a broad format and plenty of continuous paper. The 195gsm weight gives you a clear figure to use when comparing it with other papers for a particular job. This is a specialist format, and that width is the first thing to consider: it makes sense when your planned prints call for a wide roll, rather than a smaller sheet. If you’re choosing paper for a specific print workflow, make sure the stated size and satin finish match the work you have in mind. The product name gives those essentials plainly, without leaving you to guess the roll’s width or length.

Consider the format

A 152.4cm width is substantial, so it’s worth planning your print sizes around the roll before you buy. The 30m length gives you a continuous supply to work from; it isn’t a pack of individual sheets. That can suit a run of prints or projects with varying lengths, provided the roll format fits your setup and working space. Satin is the surface choice to weigh up, while 195gsm is the paper weight to compare against the requirements of your intended prints. Those are practical starting points, not a promise about how a particular image will look: the result depends on the print and the process you use. If you already know you need a wide satin photo paper roll, the key details are easy to check at a glance. If you don’t, begin with the maximum print width your work calls for; that will tell you whether this format is relevant.
