Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 250gsm 106,7cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper 250gsm 106,7cm x 30m | Satin-finish photo prints on a wide roll

For producing photographic prints from a roll, Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Paper gives you a satin-finish surface in a substantial 250gsm weight. The roll measures 106.7cm wide and 30m long, a format suited to print jobs where a narrow sheet would mean splitting the image or working in sections. It’s aimed at photographers and print makers who need photo paper in a wide, continuous roll, rather than individual sheets. The satin finish is the defining surface choice here; the weight and roll dimensions are the practical details to consider when planning a print. Think about the width your image needs and how much paper a run is likely to use. That makes it easier to judge whether this roll’s format fits the work you have in mind. A wide roll can be a useful starting point for larger photographic prints, but the right choice still depends on the dimensions of the finished image.

Choosing the roll format

The dimensions give you a straightforward way to plan: the paper is 106.7cm across, with 30m available along the roll. That’s a sizeable amount of continuous material, so it can suit repeated prints or longer output runs where working from a roll makes sense. The 250gsm weight is also worth factoring into your selection if paper weight is part of your print brief. Satin describes the finish, so this is the option to consider when that surface is what you want for your photographs. There’s no need to infer more from the name: start with the intended print size, the satin finish and the stated weight. Those are the useful points for deciding whether this particular paper belongs in your print workflow.
