Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper 235gsm 106,7cm...

Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper 235gsm 106.7cm | Satin paper for wide photo prints

For wide photo prints with a satin surface, the Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper gives you a clear starting point: a 106.7 cm-wide paper with a weight of 235gsm. It’s intended for photo-realistic printing, so it suits photographers and printmakers preparing photographic images rather than looking for a general-purpose sheet. The satin finish is the defining choice here; the product name tells you what surface to expect, without suggesting a glossy finish. Its wide format can suit images that need more room across the page, such as a large photograph or a print made to a particular display size. Before choosing a paper, I’d think about the dimensions and surface you want in the finished print. This one brings those two decisions into focus.

Choosing a wide satin photo paper

A wide roll or sheet format can make sense when a print needs to extend beyond the dimensions of ordinary paper. The stated width gives you a concrete measurement to compare with the print size you have in mind. Remember that the usable image area depends on the layout and any margins you choose, so the full width of the paper needn’t be the width of the photograph itself. Satin is also a specific surface preference, not a promise about how every image will look. If you’re selecting paper for a particular project, consider the image, the display setting and the finish you want to see. The name identifies this paper as photo-realistic and satin; those are useful cues when narrowing down options, while the listed weight gives you another detail to compare. No printer compatibility is claimed here.
