Ilford OmniJet Studio Gloss Photo RC Paper 250gsm A3 297mm x 420mm

Ilford OmniJet Studio Gloss Photo RC Paper 250gsm A3 297mm x 420mm | Glossy A3 prints with a substantial feel

The defining choice is the A3 sheet size: at 297mm x 420mm, it gives your image more room than a smaller print format. Ilford’s OmniJet Studio Gloss Photo RC Paper is for photographers and printmakers who want to produce larger glossy photo prints, rather than keep every image to a compact size. Its 250gsm weight gives the paper a substantial feel in the hand, while the gloss finish makes the surface part of the presentation. That combination suits images you plan to display, share or keep as finished prints. It’s also a straightforward choice when the format and finish are already clear in your mind. One honest point: a glossy surface has a distinct look, so it’s best chosen because you want that finish, not simply because you’re moving up to A3.

Choosing the format and finish

It helps to picture the finished print before settling on paper. A larger format gives the image more physical presence, but it also asks for more space wherever you plan to display or store it. Gloss is similarly a deliberate choice: it gives the print a shiny surface, rather than the quieter appearance associated with matte paper. Those are practical decisions, not claims about how every image will look. The right result depends on the photograph and your own taste. If you already know you want a large print with a glossy finish, the name gives you the key details to make that selection. If you’re still deciding, consider the viewing space and the look you want from the surface first.
