Ilford OmniJet Studio Pearl Photo RC Paper 250gsm 2L 127mm x 178mm

Ilford OmniJet Studio Pearl Photo RC Paper 250gsm 2L 127mm x 178mm | Compact photo prints with a pearl finish

Ilford OmniJet Studio Pearl Photo RC Paper is 250gsm, in a 2L format measuring 127 x 178mm, for photographers who want to print photos on a compact sheet with a pearl finish. The specific size makes it suited to smaller prints, when you want the dimensions decided before you start rather than trimming down a larger sheet. Pearl is the surface designation to look for here, while RC identifies the paper type in the product name. If you’re choosing paper for a particular set of images, those details give you a clear starting point: the print size, the stated weight and the surface. It’s a focused option for photo printing at this size, rather than a vague paper choice. I’d pay attention to the 2L format when planning a layout or print run; the stated dimensions are the most practical guide to how much space each image will occupy.

Choosing this paper

Start with the finished print you have in mind. At 127 x 178mm, this paper is intended for a smaller photo format, so it suits images you want to handle or share without making a large print the centrepiece. The pearl finish gives you a named surface to choose, which is useful when you’re matching paper to the look you want in a print. The 250gsm figure is also a concrete part of the choice: it lets you compare the paper by its stated weight rather than relying on a broad label such as “photo paper.”

For a batch, consistency starts with selecting the same paper and size throughout. That keeps your planned print dimensions clear from the outset. If you’re deciding between paper options, consider the image’s final size and whether the pearl surface suits the presentation you’re after. This product’s appeal is its specific combination of 2L sizing, 127 x 178mm dimensions, 250gsm weight and pearl designation. Those details make it straightforward to identify when they match the print you want to make.
