Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 200gsm 30,5cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 200gsm 30,5cm x 30m | Satin photo paper in roll format

What sets the Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper apart in a print workflow is its satin photo-paper finish and roll format. It's aimed at people who make photo prints themselves and want paper supplied as a continuous roll rather than as individual sheets. The 200gsm weight gives you a clear figure to compare when choosing paper for a particular job; the roll measures 30.5cm across and 30m long, so plan around that width and the amount of paper your work will use. Its satin surface makes this a specific finish choice, rather than a general-purpose paper listing. This is most useful when you already know you want photo paper on a roll and are deciding whether this width, length and weight fit your output. The honest point: the title gives a format and finish, not a promise about how every image will look. For careful buyers, that’s a sensible basis for choosing.

Planning your prints

Think first about the print sizes and orientations you regularly make. A roll format asks you to plan the layout and cutting around your own output, rather than select a pre-cut sheet size. If you print in batches, estimate how much paper each job may use and whether working from a roll suits your routine. Keep any trimming and borders in mind when preparing the image layout, too. That way, the choice is based on both the finish you want and the way you produce your prints, not just the product name. There’s no need to overcomplicate it: think about the work you actually print and how you prefer to handle the paper. If satin photo paper in roll form is what you’re looking for, those are the practical points to weigh up.
