Ilford Prestige Gloss 260 Igpgp 111.8x30.5

Ilford Prestige Gloss 260 Igpgp 111.8x30.5 | Photo paper with a named gloss finish

What sets this Ilford photo paper apart in its title is the named Gloss finish, along with its Prestige name and the size notation 111.8 x 30.5. It suits someone who has already settled on a gloss finish and is comparing photo paper by product name and stated size. The clearest reason to consider it is simple: it’s identified as Ilford Prestige Gloss, so you can narrow your search to that paper and finish. I’d pay close attention to the dimensions when comparing it with the paper you need. The title also includes “260 Igpgp”; those are part of the product name as supplied, and I won’t assign them a meaning the title doesn’t give. If a gloss finish and this stated size match your brief, this is the Ilford paper to look at.

Choosing by finish and size

When you’re selecting photo paper, it helps to decide on the surface finish before comparing product names. Here, the finish named in the title is Gloss. Next, compare the stated 111.8 x 30.5 dimensions with the size you want for your prints. Keep the numbers together as written when checking another listing; the title doesn’t attach a unit to them. That’s a small but practical point when product titles use compact size notation. The name also includes “260 Igpgp”, which can help you distinguish this listing from another Ilford paper title. I’d use the full product name when searching or asking us about it, rather than relying on “Gloss” alone. That keeps the comparison tied to this particular Ilford Prestige paper without assuming anything beyond its stated name, finish and dimensions.
