Ilford Prestige Gold Raster Silk 290 GPRP 43.2x15.2MTR
Ilford Prestige Gold Raster Silk 290 GPRP 43.2x15.2MTR | A clearly identified photo paper format
This Ilford Prestige Gold photo paper is identified by a specific paper designation and the format code 43.2x15.2MTR. That makes it most useful to someone who already has a particular paper in mind and wants to match the product name carefully, rather than choose from a broad paper category. If you’re organising print supplies or replacing a paper you’ve used before, the full title gives you a precise reference to work from. It’s also a sensible starting point when planning prints around a required paper format. The title identifies it as Raster Silk 290 GPRP, but those details are best treated as the product’s exact designation rather than guessed at. In short, this is a named photo paper for shoppers who value a clear product reference. Check the full name against your intended print job; the format code is easy to overlook.
Choosing the format
Paper selection is a practical part of planning a print. Start with the dimensions your finished work needs, then compare those with the format stated in the product title. If you’re matching a paper already used in a workflow, use the complete designation, including “Raster Silk 290 GPRP,” as your reference. A partial search for “Ilford Prestige Gold” may bring up other products, so keeping the full title to hand can help you distinguish this one.
It also helps to settle the intended print size before preparing a batch of images. That gives you a chance to arrange the layout around the paper you’ve chosen, rather than discover a mismatch after you’ve set up the files. The product name gives you a specific starting point for that decision; use the full format code when comparing it with your print plan. A small detail, but an easy one to miss when ordering paper by name alone.
