Indipro D-Tap Power Cable To Sony V-Series Type Dummy BTTRY

Indipro D-Tap Power Cable To Sony V-Series Type Dummy BTTRY | A direct D-Tap power connection

Keep your setup powered through a D-Tap connection, with a cable that ends in a Sony V-Series type dummy battery. The Indipro BTTRY is for a rig built around a D-Tap power source that needs this dummy-battery format at the camera end. It gives you a cable route between the two, rather than asking you to use a regular V-Series battery in that position. That can make a difference when you’re arranging power around a camera setup and want the connection to match the gear you already use. The key detail is the format at each end: D-Tap on the power side, Sony V-Series type dummy on the other. It’s a specific-purpose cable, so its value comes down to whether those are the connections your setup calls for.

In practice, this is a small but important link in a D-Tap-powered rig. It’s suited to a setup where the power source is already part of your plan and you need a cable leading to a Sony V-Series type dummy battery. That makes it relevant when laying out your power connections for a shoot, rather than as a general-purpose charging lead. The honest point is that the product name tells you the connector formats, not whether it matches every power arrangement. Make sure your intended source and device are designed to work with those formats before building the cable into your setup. If they are, the BTTRY gives you the D-Tap-to-dummy-battery connection in one named cable.
