Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Dual Battery Xplorer Bundle: Record 8K action for longer

Action footage often means carrying a separate camera and spare power; the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Dual Battery Xplorer Bundle combines an action camera with two batteries in one set. Its 1/1.3-inch sensor records video at up to 8K30fps, giving adventure sports, travel and outdoor filming plenty of detail to work with. It also records 4K slow motion at up to 120fps and 4K HDR at up to 60fps, so you can choose a format to suit fast movement or scenes with bright and dark areas. For a long day of filming, the dual-battery bundle means you have a second battery ready when the first runs down. The flip touchscreen is useful when you're framing yourself for a vlog, while the camera's action-focused features also suit mounting it for sports footage. Its waterproof rating reaches 12 metres, so rain and underwater recording are on the menu without an optional housing at that depth. This is a capable small camera for active filming, though the package details are worth reading carefully: the listed contents include two batteries, not a separate charger.

Highlights

• Leica lens and colour profiles: The LEICA SUMMARIT lens and Leica Color Profiles are intended to deliver crisp-looking footage with vivid, natural colour. That combination is useful when you want your clips to look consistent across outdoor scenes, rather than relying on a heavily stylised colour effect.
• Low-light video: PureVideo is the camera's dedicated low-light feature. It gives evening outings and dimmer settings a specific recording mode, so you can capture scenes after daylight fades instead of limiting the camera to bright conditions.
• Stabilisation and horizon control: FlowState Stabilization reduces the visible effect of shake and vibration, while 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level even as the camera rotates or turns upside down. For moving footage, that means less distracting camera movement in the finished clip.
• Flip touchscreen and quick control: The 2.5-inch flip screen helps with framing a selfie or vlog, and the camera also accepts voice and gesture controls. Magnetic mounting makes attaching the camera quicker, particularly when you need to get it set up for an action shot.
• Wind noise reduction: WindGuard technology reduces wind noise in outdoor recordings. It’s a useful detail for footage captured while cycling, running or travelling outdoors, where wind can otherwise compete with voices and surrounding sound.
• Pre-recording: Pre-recording can capture up to 120 seconds before you press record. That extra lead-in is handy when a moment begins unexpectedly, so you can keep the build-up rather than starting the clip after the action has already happened.
• Editing in the Insta360 app: The app offers AI-based editing, including automatic highlights and assembled clips in its Memories section. You can also edit footage manually when you want more control over the selection and pacing before sharing.
