JJC LPC 18135 Lens Contacts Cover
JJC LPC 18135 Lens Contacts Cover | A dedicated cover for lens contacts
The JJC LPC 18135 has a specific job: it covers lens contacts, rather than covering the lens as a whole. It suits anyone who wants a dedicated cover for the contact area when that area needs to be shielded. The benefit is straightforward: a cover puts a physical layer over the contacts, helping keep them from being touched directly while the cover is in place. That makes this a focused accessory, not an all-purpose lens protector. Its name also makes its intended use clear, so you can distinguish it from covers for other parts of a camera or lens. If you need something to cover lens contacts, the LPC 18135 is the product to consider. The title doesn’t identify a particular lens or camera system, so I’d avoid assuming compatibility from the model name alone.
Specialist Note
The JJC LPC 18135 is a cover for shielding lens contacts, and that’s its one clear job. I’d think of it when you want those contacts covered while a lens is set aside, rather than as protection for the lens body or front element. The “LPC 18135” designation identifies this particular cover, while “Lens Contacts Cover” tells you the part it’s meant to cover; those are the useful details to focus on when choosing it. To use it for its intended purpose, place the cover over the lens contact area when you want that area shielded. It’s a specialist accessory, so it won’t replace a cover for other parts of a lens.
