Kaiser Warmtefilter 70x70mm
Kaiser Warmtefilter 70x70mm | A square filter for heat-conscious setups
Heat around photographic equipment can be a concern when your setup calls for a dedicated filter. The Kaiser Warmtefilter is a heat filter in a 70 × 70 mm format, intended for use where that size and kind of filter are specified. It gives you a clearly defined part to add to a setup that needs heat filtering, rather than asking you to adapt a differently sized filter. This is a specialist component, so it suits photographers and darkroom users who already know their equipment takes this format and want a filter for that particular purpose. It’s best approached as a practical, format-specific part: match the stated size and use it in an arrangement designed for a heat filter. The name tells you its role; it isn’t a general-purpose colour effect filter. If you need a square Kaiser heat filter in this size, this is the straightforward option to consider.
Specialist Note
On a setup specified for a 70 × 70 mm filter, I’d consider this Kaiser when heat filtering is the job at hand. That square measurement gives you a precise format to match against the filter position in your equipment; don’t assume it fits a different opening. The listed colour is black, which is handy as a visual detail when sorting or identifying parts, but colour alone doesn’t tell you how much heat it filters. It suits someone maintaining a photographic setup that calls for this exact type and size. My honest advice: use it for that stated purpose, not as a general colour-correction filter.
