Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 58mm
Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 58mm | Control reflections and glare
Without a polarizing filter, reflections from water or glass can compete with the subject in your frame. The Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 58mm is a polarizing-filter product for photographers who want to reduce those reflections and manage the look of a blue sky. Its 58mm size is the key fitting detail: it’s intended for a lens with a matching 58mm filter thread. That makes it worth considering if you photograph shop windows, lakes, or landscapes where glare is getting in the way. A polarizer’s effect changes with its position relative to the light, so it takes a little adjustment to find the look you want. The product name identifies it as a kit, but the useful starting point is still your lens’s filter-thread size and the control a polarizing filter offers over reflections.
Specialist Note
Is this the Kase kit for a lens with a 58mm filter thread? Yes—that 58mm figure is the size to match, so it’s the detail I’d check against the marking on your lens. Since this is a polarizing filter, it’s suited to scenes where reflections distract: try it on a lake or when photographing through a window, and turn the filter while watching the reflection change in your viewfinder or screen. You can also adjust the sky’s appearance in a landscape. One honest limitation: a polarizer won’t remove every reflection, and its effect depends on the light and your shooting angle.
