Kelvin Epos-MD-D90
Kelvin Epos-MD-D90 | UV filtration for outdoor scenes
For outdoor scenes where UV filtration is the goal, the Kelvin Epos-MD-D90 is a UV filter for photographers who want that specific kind of filtration in their kit. Its category points to its intended role: filtering ultraviolet light, rather than controlling exposure or adding a colour effect. That makes it relevant to landscape and travel photography in daylight, where you may want UV filtration as part of your setup. I’d keep expectations focused on that purpose; a UV filter isn’t a creative-effects filter or an exposure-control tool. If you’re choosing a filter specifically for UV filtration, the Epos-MD-D90 is the Kelvin model identified for that job. It’s a straightforward product category, without extra claims about how it changes the look of your photographs.
Specialist Note
The filter’s position at the front of the lens puts it in the light path before that light reaches the camera. The UV designation is the useful clue here: this is for photographers who specifically want ultraviolet filtration, not a filter intended to alter colour or manage exposure. I’d consider it for daylight landscapes or travel scenes when UV filtration is the aim, and keep its role just that focused. The name to look for is Kelvin Epos-MD-D90; that identifies this particular UV filter. It’s a specialised purpose, so I wouldn’t choose it expecting a dramatic creative effect or a change to shutter speed.
