Kondor Blue KB C400-VMP Canon C400 Cage V-Mount Battery Plate | Build a C400 rig around V-mount power
Build a Canon C400 camera rig with a V-mount battery plate as part of the cage setup. The Kondor Blue KB C400-VMP is a tripod accessory for this camera-specific build, intended for people putting together a C400 rig that includes V-mount battery power. It’s most relevant when you’re planning a tripod-based setup for interviews, studio recording or other controlled video work, where you want the camera and its power arrangement considered together. The product’s name identifies both the Canon C400 cage context and the V-mount battery plate, giving you a focused component rather than a general tripod add-on. It won’t change the look of your footage by itself; its value is in helping shape the physical rig around the camera. If your build is centred on the C400 and V-mount power, this is the specific part to consider.
Specialist Note
The V-mount plate is the detail that defines this accessory: it makes V-mount battery power part of a Canon C400 cage setup. I’d consider it when you’re planning a tripod-based C400 build for a seated interview or studio recording, and want the battery arrangement included in the rig plan from the start. The C400-specific naming matters here; this isn’t a general battery plate to pick up for any camera. Keep your rig plan centred on the Canon C400 cage and this V-mount plate, and you’ll know whether it belongs in your setup. Its use is deliberately specific, which is helpful when that’s exactly the camera you’re building around.
