Kondor Blue KB-CAR-100 Cine Lens Clamp-On Adapter Rings 114-100 Adapter
Kondor Blue KB-CAR-100 Cine Lens Clamp-On Adapter Rings 114-100 Adapter | Bridge a 114-100 size change
For a clamp-on cine-lens setup that needs a 114-100 size transition, the Kondor Blue KB-CAR-100 Cine Lens Clamp-On Adapter Ring gives you a clearly identified adapter for that job. Its 114-100 designation is the key detail: it helps you plan a setup where the two sides need those different sizes, rather than treating the ring as a general-purpose fitting. It suits camera assistants and filmmakers building or adjusting a cine-lens rig, especially when keeping a clamp-on arrangement is part of the setup. Use the size numbers to check the connection points in your build before you assemble it. That makes this a straightforward, purpose-specific part to consider when a cine lens and the adjoining clamp-on accessory don’t share the same size. It’s an adapter ring, not an optical accessory; its value is in the size transition.
Specialist Note
A mismatch between the lens setup and the adjoining clamp-on part can hold up a rig build; this ring addresses that particular sizing problem. I’d look at the 114-100 designation first and match those numbers to the two connection points you’re bringing together. The clamp-on format makes it relevant to cine-lens setups built around that kind of attachment, while the adapter-ring design keeps its role specific: managing the size change, not altering the lens’s image or operation. It suits filmmakers and assistants assembling a rig around a cine lens. One practical limit is that the title identifies a particular 114-100 transition, so it isn’t a general fit for every clamp-on setup.
