Kondor Blue KB-ML Mini Lock Quick Release Plates
Kondor Blue KB-ML Mini Lock Quick Release Plates | Quick tripod changes
Without a quick-release plate, moving a camera between tripod support and handheld use can mean repeating the connection step each time. The Kondor Blue KB-ML Mini Lock Quick Release Plates are a tripod accessory for photographers who want that change to be part of their working setup. They’re most relevant when you switch between tripod-based framing and shooting handheld, or when you want to leave a plate on the camera rather than start from scratch each time you set up. The name points to a mini, lock-style quick-release plate, rather than a tripod itself or a general camera support. This is a focused accessory for a specific part of your workflow: making camera mounting and removal easier to organise. If your camera regularly goes from tripod to handheld and back, a plate-based approach can save you from repeating the same attachment step.
Specialist Note
Do the Kondor Blue KB-ML Mini Lock Quick Release Plates suit a camera that moves between tripod and handheld use? Yes—that’s the workflow a quick-release plate is meant to help organise. I’d keep one attached to the camera, then use the plate setup when moving between a tripod and handheld shooting; that’s handy for switching from a carefully framed landscape to walking around for detail shots. “Mini” signals a smaller plate format, which is worth considering if you want the camera-side piece to stay compact. The “Lock” part is also central to this model’s identity: it’s aimed at a setup where securing the plate matters. It’s a specific accessory, so think of it as one part of your tripod arrangement, not a complete support system.
