Kondor Blue KB-MON-SMOUNT-N NATO Swivel Tilt Monitor Mount
Kondor Blue KB-MON-SMOUNT-N NATO Swivel Tilt Monitor Mount | Adjust your monitor’s viewing angle
Without a dedicated monitor mount, a screen can be awkward to position around a camera rig. The Kondor Blue KB-MON-SMOUNT-N is a NATO swivel tilt monitor mount for operators who want a monitor on a NATO attachment point and adjustable for viewing. Its job is straightforward: provide a place for a monitor, then let you swivel and tilt it to find a more useful viewing angle. That makes it relevant to video camera builds where you need to keep an eye on framing or follow action without having the screen stuck in one orientation. A screen at a poor angle can pull your attention away from the camera, so being able to reposition it can make monitoring more comfortable during a longer setup. This is a focused positioning accessory, rather than a monitor or a display-control device; its value is in giving the screen a movable position on the rig.
Specialist Note
On a one-monitor rig, I’d place this mount where the screen stays visible from your operating position, then use the swivel and tilt to set its viewing angle. The NATO fitting is the key detail: it’s intended for a build using a NATO attachment point, so think of it as part of that rig layout rather than a universal mounting solution. For an interview, angle the monitor toward your seated camera position; for following a subject, adjust it to keep the display in view as you work. I’d choose it when monitor placement is the issue. It moves the screen; it doesn’t add display features to the monitor itself.
