Kondor Blue KB-S1H-BR-BK LUMIX S1H Basis-Rig MkII S1/S1R/S1H Pitch Black
Kondor Blue KB-S1H-BR-BK LUMIX S1H Basis-Rig MkII S1/S1R/S1H Pitch Black | A base-rig option for tripod setups
A camera setup can feel incomplete when you need a rig component for tripod-based work, but want one identified for your particular LUMIX body. The Kondor Blue KB-S1H-BR-BK Basis-Rig MkII is a tripod accessory for the LUMIX S1, S1R and S1H. It gives owners of those cameras a specific base-rig option to build into a tripod-oriented setup, rather than choosing an accessory with no named fit for their camera family. It suits photographers and video makers who work with one of these bodies and want to assemble a rig around it for studio work, interviews or other steady, tripod-based shooting. The Pitch Black finish keeps the look understated alongside dark equipment. This is a rig component, not a tripod; think of it as part of the camera setup you build around your chosen body and tripod.
Specialist Note
For a three-model LUMIX workflow—S1, S1R and S1H—I’d consider this when you want a named base-rig option for those bodies. The compatibility matters in practice: it gives you a clear fit to work from when choosing the rig component for a studio interview or a locked-off tripod shot. Its role as a tripod accessory also helps set expectations: it belongs in a tripod-based camera setup, but it isn’t the tripod itself. Pitch Black is a sensible finish if you prefer rig parts to keep a quiet, matching look. I’d pair it with the compatible camera and the tripod you already plan to use.
