Kondor Blue KB-SPACER-AA ARRI To ARRI Spacer
Kondor Blue KB-SPACER-AA ARRI To ARRI Spacer | Creates spacing between ARRI components
Its name is unusually clear about the job: the Kondor Blue KB-SPACER-AA is a spacer intended for an ARRI-to-ARRI arrangement. That makes it relevant to camera operators and rig builders who need a spacing piece between ARRI components, rather than an optical filter for changing the image. A spacer’s value is in where it sits in a build: it creates separation where two parts would otherwise be placed together. The product name identifies the intended system and role, but doesn’t give a measurement for that separation, so I’d treat it as a purpose-specific rig component rather than assume a particular offset. It’s best suited to someone who already knows their build calls for an ARRI-to-ARRI spacer and wants the named part for that position. If you found it under the UV filter category, note that the product name describes a spacer, not a UV filter.
What the name tells you
KB-SPACER-AA identifies the model, while “ARRI To ARRI Spacer” describes its stated role. In practical terms, that points to placement between ARRI components when a build needs them spaced apart. The name is useful when you’re matching a part to a rig plan, but it doesn’t establish the amount of spacing or describe a specific mounting arrangement. Use those details from your own setup requirements rather than guessing from the product title.
Specialist Note
Two ARRI mentions in the product name make the intended relationship clear: this is a spacer for an ARRI-to-ARRI arrangement. I’d consider it when a rig layout needs separation between ARRI components, not when you’re looking to alter light reaching the sensor. The second useful detail is the word “spacer” itself: it tells you the part’s role is to create distance in the build, rather than to act as a filter or an image-making control. It suits operators and rig builders who already know this is the piece their ARRI setup calls for. Keep the intended spacing in your plan; the name alone doesn’t give a measurement.
