Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Shift CF Lens Cap (LAO-LC1224)
Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Shift CF Lens Cap (LAO-LC1224) | Keep your lens covered between shoots
When you pack away your Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Shift CF lens, a cap gives its front a cover for storage and the journey to your next setup. This is the lens cap named for that specific Laowa lens, so it’s a straightforward accessory to keep with the lens rather than a general-purpose item. Fit it whenever you’re finished shooting, or during a pause when the lens is off the camera, to help keep dust and casual contact away from the front element. It’s particularly handy if you move between locations or pack your gear in a bag between compositions. The product name identifies the lens as a 12-24mm f/5.6 zoom shift model; the cap’s role is simpler: cover the lens when you’re not using it. If you own that lens and need a cap for storage or everyday handling, this is the specific accessory to consider.
Specialist Note
A bare lens front is one more thing to worry about when you’re packing up; this cap gives the Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Shift CF lens a cover between uses. The 12-24mm range identifies the zoom lens it’s made for, so keep this cap with that lens rather than treating it as a universal spare. The f/5.6 designation also helps distinguish the named lens model when you’re sorting accessories. For a practical routine, remove the cap to shoot at 12mm or 24mm, then replace it before putting the lens away. It’s for covering the lens, not protection while shooting, so handle the exposed front carefully during a change of setup.
