Laowa 27mm T2.8 Interchangeable Bayonet (Cine) ARRI PL

Laowa 27mm T2.8 Interchangeable Bayonet (Cine) ARRI PL | A clearly named ARRI PL bayonet

The Laowa 27mm T2.8 Interchangeable Bayonet (Cine) ARRI PL is an ARRI PL bayonet option for the Laowa 27mm T2.8 Cine lens. It’s aimed at filmmakers and camera teams who need this named mount in their lens setup. The product title is refreshingly specific: it identifies the lens as a 27mm T2.8 Cine model and names ARRI PL as the bayonet. That makes it easier to match the part to a build list or production plan without relying on a vague description. Its role is a practical one: a converter for a particular lens, rather than a general-purpose camera accessory. If your setup calls for the Laowa 27mm T2.8 Cine lens with an ARRI PL bayonet, those are the details to focus on. One honest point: the product name tells you the key identifiers, so it’s best to use those exact identifiers when selecting it.

Matching the part to your setup

Mount details matter when a production is coordinating lenses, camera builds and equipment lists. Here, the ARRI PL designation is explicit, as is the fact that this is an interchangeable bayonet for the named Laowa Cine lens. That gives camera assistants and rental teams a concise way to identify the part in planning notes: lens model, T-stop and bayonet type are all present in the product name. It’s a focused item, not a broad adapter description, so the value is in that clear identification. If you’re comparing parts for a specific build, use the complete lens name and mount designation as your reference. Keeping those terms together helps avoid mixing this converter up with another item in a kit.
