Laowa Lens Cap For 18mm 25mm f/0.95 MFT (LAO-LC2595)
Laowa Lens Cap For 18mm 25mm f/0.95 MFT (LAO-LC2595) | Keep the lens front covered between shoots
After taking a lens off the camera, it’s easy to leave the front exposed while you change setups or pack your bag. This Laowa lens cap is made for the Laowa 18mm and 25mm f/0.95 MFT lenses, giving you a simple way to cover the lens when it isn’t in use. It suits owners of either of those lenses who want to keep the front covered during storage and between shooting sessions. Its job is straightforward: fit the cap to the intended lens when you’re done shooting, then remove it when you’re ready to work again. That makes it a practical part of a lens-care routine, whether the lens is going back into a bag or waiting on a shelf. It’s a small accessory, but it helps avoid leaving the lens front open to everyday dust and accidental contact.
Keep the cap with the lens rather than loose in a pocket or bag, so it’s easy to reach when you pack up. If you move between locations, fit it before stowing the lens; at home, use it whenever the lens is put away. Those simple habits help keep the front covered when the lens is idle. This is a protective accessory, not an optical add-on, so its value is in covering the lens between uses rather than changing how your photographs look.
Specialist Note
The cap’s flat front gives you a clear, simple place to press when covering the lens, so putting it on becomes a quick last step before packing away. I’d keep one with the 18mm and one with the 25mm if you own both, then cover whichever lens you’ve just finished using. The f/0.95 aperture is part of what makes these lenses distinctive; when you’ve been using that wide opening for a dim interior or a softly separated subject, remember to cap the lens as soon as you set it down. This is a focused accessory for those Laowa MFT lenses, rather than a general-purpose cap.
