The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 Lens in Silver for Canon RF

Boasting a compact and lightweight design, the Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (in Silver) for the Canon RF delivers high-quality organic images thanks to its 1.5x anamorphic squeeze fit on S35 sensor cameras. Its telephoto compression capabilities make it a prime choice for close-up shots, while a broad aperture range of T2.4 to T16 facilitates depth-of-field manipulation. The highlight feature, 13 aperture blades, ensures a soft bokeh effect.

This superior lens supports a minimum focusing distance of 70 cm and exhibits anamorphic attributes like oval bokeh, a thinner depth of field, and silver-tinted lens flares. Additionally, it exhibits focus markings in both feet and meters, 0.8 MOD cine-gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm front filter thread. Thanks to its interchangeable mount design, the Canon RF lens mount can be swapped out for six other separately sold mounts. This Nanomorph lens can be paired with the separately sold 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x.

A squeeze ratio of 1.5x strikes the perfect balance between the size and the intensity of the anamorphic effect. After de-squeezing, a 1.5x squeeze ratio yields an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor. Given its coverage surpasses that of the S35, this Nanomorph lens can be utilized with selected full-frame cameras without significant vignetting.
