Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 250 AW Grey/Dark Green

Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 250 AW Grey/Dark Green: Carry camera kit on hikes

Camera gear and the layers you need for a day outdoors often end up competing for the same space. The Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 250 AW Grey/Dark Green is a camera backpack that separates your photography kit from personal items, with access to the camera compartment through the back panel. That layout is handy on a hike or during a busy city stop: reach your camera from the rear, while the upper compartment carries a jumper or rain jacket. Inside, padded dividers keep your kit organised, and the pack has capacity for a camera with several lenses, rather than just a body and one lens. It’s suited to photographers moving between walks, sightseeing and travel days who want a single pack for camera equipment and everyday essentials. A compact tripod has its own attachment point, and mesh side pockets keep a water bottle close at hand. The included All Weather cover adds protection when the weather turns. For a travel day, the separate upper space keeps a spare layer apart from the camera kit; on a walking route, rear access puts the camera compartment against your back instead of at the front. The grey and dark green Flipside Trek is a compact outdoor pack with a useful split between camera storage and personal belongings.

Built for the trip

• Rear-panel camera access: The camera compartment opens from the back of the pack. Your camera stays on the body-facing side of the bag, rather than being reached through a front opening.
• Padded dividers: The dividers keep camera equipment separated and in place inside the compartment. Arrange them around your kit to give the camera and lenses their own spaces.
• Separate upper compartment: Store a jumper or rain jacket apart from the camera gear. It’s a useful division when the day’s kit includes both photography equipment and an extra layer.
• Compact tripod attachment: A dedicated attachment point carries a compact tripod on the outside of the pack, leaving the camera compartment available for your equipment.
• Mesh side pockets: Keep a water bottle in one of the side pockets for a walk or a day of sightseeing, with it separate from the camera compartment.
• Comfort-focused back panel: The ActivZone back panel uses breathable material, while adjustable, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and a chest strap help keep the backpack stable as you walk.
• All Weather cover: The integrated rain cover unfolds when conditions turn wet, adding a protective layer over the backpack and its contents.

What fits inside

The camera compartment accommodates a DSLR with a lens attached, plus one or two additional lenses or a flash and accessories. A padded CradleFit compartment holds a tablet up to 8 inches, with a soft lining to help prevent scratches on its screen. The internal dimensions are 20 × 12 × 23 cm; the backpack’s external dimensions are 25.5 × 17 × 44 cm. The top compartment is separate from the camera storage, so personal items have their own space.
