Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus 82 mm
Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus 82 mm | Control reflections as you shoot
The circular-polarising design is the defining choice here: it gives you control over reflections while you compose, rather than leaving the effect for later editing. The Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus is an 82 mm filter for photographers who want to manage glare from water and glass, or adjust the appearance of a blue sky. Turn the filter as you look through the viewfinder or at the screen to find the effect that suits the scene. The result depends on your angle, so a small adjustment can make a visible difference. It’s especially useful for landscapes with open sky and for subjects photographed through windows. This is a hands-on filter: you choose how much reflection to reduce as you frame the picture. The 82 mm size is for a lens with an 82 mm filter thread, making it a specific fit rather than a universal one.
Specialist Note
Late light catches the surface of a canal, and the view through the water competes with its reflections. That’s where this filter earns its place: rotate the circular polariser as you frame until the surface glare eases and you can see more of what’s beneath it. The same adjustment can help with reflections in shop-window glass. Its 82 mm diameter means it’s for a lens with that filter-thread size, so do check the marking on your lens before choosing it. For a blue sky, the polarising effect is usually strongest with the sun roughly 90 degrees to your shooting direction. It won’t remove every reflection, and the effect changes as you move.
