Marumi StepUp Ring Lens 46mm To Accessory 52 mm
Marumi StepUp Ring Lens 46mm To Accessory 52 mm | Match a 46 mm lens to a 52 mm filter
You have a filter you want to use, but its fitting is wider than the thread on your lens. The Marumi StepUp Ring Lens 46mm To Accessory 52 mm bridges that gap, letting you attach a 52 mm accessory to a lens with a 46 mm thread. It’s a straightforward filter accessory for photographers who want to share a suitable filter between lenses with those sizes, rather than keep a separate copy for each one. Fit the ring between the lens and the accessory, and the different diameters can connect. The ring is black, so it stays visually understated among your camera accessories. Its job is simply to adapt the fitting size; it doesn’t change what the filter does. It’s best suited to the specific step-up from 46 mm to 52 mm, not to other thread-size combinations.
Specialist Note
A 46 mm lens thread can leave a 52 mm filter unusable on that lens; this ring bridges those exact sizes. Screw it onto the lens, then attach the 52 mm accessory, and you can make use of a filter you already own instead of buying another just for that lens. The direction matters: this is a step up from 46 mm to 52 mm, so it won’t solve the reverse pairing. Its black finish keeps the adapter visually low-key beside your other gear. It suits anyone who wants to share a 52 mm filter with a lens that has a 46 mm thread.
