Meike Mount Adapter Canon EF EN EF S To EOS R (Locking Mount)

Meike Mount Adapter Canon EF and EF-S to EOS R (Locking Mount) | Adapt your lens mount

Owning Canon EF or EF-S lenses doesn’t help if your camera has an EOS R mount and there’s no way to connect them. This Meike mount adapter is made for that specific change: it adapts Canon EF and EF-S lenses to EOS R. It suits photographers who want to use lenses from those mount families with an EOS R camera, and its clearest use is bridging that lens-to-camera mount difference. The locking mount is part of the product’s design. The name tells you what mounts it connects; it doesn’t give a basis for assuming how particular camera or lens functions will behave. If you’re choosing an adapter for a specific lens and camera combination, match their mounts to the ones named here. That’s the practical starting point.

A focused mount change

An adapter is a small piece of kit, but choosing the right mount pairing matters. This one is specifically named for Canon EF and EF-S lenses going to EOS R, rather than being a general-purpose adapter. That makes the decision fairly direct: the lens needs to be from one of those two families, and the camera needs to use the EOS R mount. The locking mount is also explicitly part of this model’s name, so it’s a useful detail to look for when comparing product listings. Keep the choice tied to those stated mount names; the adapter’s description alone isn’t a reason to assume support for functions beyond the mount connection. For the right pairing, it offers a straightforward answer to the question of how to join those lens and camera mounts.
