Metabones Leica R - E-Mount Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X)

Metabones Leica R - E-Mount Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X) | A named Leica R to E-Mount converter

Your Leica R lens and E-Mount setup have a clear connection with this Metabones converter: it’s named for those two mounts and carries a 0.71X Speed Booster designation. It suits photographers who want this particular combination, rather than a general-purpose converter with a less specific fit. The most useful starting point is the name itself: Leica R, E-Mount and 0.71X tell you which converter you’re looking at. That makes it a focused option for someone building a setup around Leica R lenses and E-Mount. I’d keep the exact model name to hand when comparing converters; small differences in mount naming matter when you’re choosing an adapter. This is a specific piece of kit for a specific pairing, and that’s its honest appeal.

A focused converter choice

With converter names, it’s easy to get distracted by broad claims and overlook the one detail that decides whether a product belongs on your shortlist: the mount pairing. Here, the title points to Leica R and E-Mount, with the 0.71X designation included in the product name. If those are the terms you’re shopping around, this listing gives you a concise way to identify the Metabones model. If you’re comparing options, keep the full name in view rather than relying on “Speed Booster” alone. That’s a practical approach, especially when a converter is being chosen for a particular lens and camera setup. No extra claims are needed to understand what this product is called and who it’s aimed at.
