MID49 M49-BSL-LWB-23BASELINE Core 15mm LW 23mm Platform Height
MID49 M49-BSL-LWB-23BASELINE Core 15mm LW 23mm Platform Height | A clearly specified platform height for rig planning
Without a clear height reference, choosing a tripod accessory for a camera setup can involve too much guesswork. The MID49 M49-BSL-LWB-23BASELINE Core is a tripod accessory identified for a 15mm LW layout and a 23mm platform height. That makes it relevant when you’re planning a setup around those specific measurements, rather than looking for an accessory with an unspecified platform height. It suits camera operators and crew who want to compare a named accessory with the dimensions of a planned rig before assembling it. Its most useful role is straightforward: help you work from a defined platform height when laying out a tripod-based camera setup. The product name also gives you a clear reference for the 15mm LW format. If your setup calls for different measurements, those details matter more than the product’s name or appearance.
Planning your setup
Before choosing this accessory, work out the platform height your setup calls for and check that it matches the stated measurement. Keep the 15mm LW designation in view as you plan the layout, too. This makes the product’s key references easy to compare with your own requirements, without relying on assumptions about how it will fit into a particular build.
Specialist Note
Does this MID49 accessory specify both its format and platform height? Yes: it’s identified as 15mm LW, with a 23mm platform height. I’d use those exact references when planning a tripod-mounted camera setup: first establish the height your layout needs, then compare it with the stated 23mm. The 15mm LW designation gives you another specific point to check while arranging the build. It suits someone who is working to a defined rig layout, not someone choosing by appearance alone. One honest caveat: if your planned platform height differs, this may not be the right match, so settle that measurement before selecting it.
