Nedis CAT6a Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 2.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT6a Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 2.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label | A direct link between network devices

When two pieces of network equipment need a wired connection, this Nedis cable gives you a 2.0 m link with an RJ45 male plug at each end. It’s a CAT6a network cable, suited to a setup where that cable type and those connectors are what you need. The length is useful for a nearby connection, such as equipment arranged on or beside a desk; it also makes the route worth measuring before you place the devices. Its round construction, grey colour, snagless design and LSZH designation are part of the product’s specification. The title doesn’t give a speed rating or other performance figures, so I’d choose it on the basis of the CAT6a type, the RJ45 ends and the run you need, rather than assume a particular transfer rate. In short, it’s a specific cable for a straightforward connection, not a bundle of extras.

For a considered cable run

Start by checking the distance between the two connection points and allow for the route the cable will actually take. A 2.0 m cable suits a relatively close arrangement; it may not reach if the cable needs to travel around furniture or along a longer route. The male RJ45 plugs at both ends make the connection type clear, so you can match them to the ports you intend to use. The snagless description is also handy to recognise when choosing among cable types, especially if you expect to unplug or move the lead now and then. Grey is a practical, understated colour for a visible run, while the round design gives the cable a familiar shape to route. Keep the selection simple: match the connector ends, CAT6a designation and length to the job.
