Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid S/FTP CCA 305 M Outdoor Pe BK
Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid S/FTP CCA 305 M Outdoor Pe BK | A long outdoor network run from one reel
When you’re planning a network route that needs to run outdoors, a 305 m reel gives you cable for a long installation rather than a short, ready-made lead. This Nedis CAT6 cable is aimed at installers and anyone setting up a network run who needs an outdoor-rated cable in a substantial length. Its title identifies it as solid, S/FTP and CCA, with a PE outer jacket and a black finish. Those details matter when matching cable construction to the job: this is a cable for planning a route, not a finished patch cable. One point to keep in mind is the CCA construction: it means copper-clad aluminium, not a solid copper conductor. If that distinction matters for your installation, take it into account before choosing.
Understanding the cable designation
CAT6 names the cable category. “Solid” describes its conductor construction, while CCA tells you the conductor material is aluminium with a copper coating. S/FTP describes the shielding arrangement: a braided screen around the cable, with foil shielding around the individual twisted pairs. It’s useful to know what those abbreviations mean when you’re comparing cable types, but they don’t replace checking the requirements of the network installation you’re planning.
The outdoor PE designation identifies the jacket material as polyethylene and marks the cable for outdoor use. BK indicates black. Together with the 305 m length, these details make the product straightforward to identify when planning a cable route and estimating the amount needed. The reel format gives you a continuous supply to work from, rather than a collection of short leads; the finished route and connection points are part of your installation plan.
