Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink M - TosLink M 1.0m GY
Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink M - TosLink M 1.0m GY | A direct optical audio connection for nearby equipment
Your audio equipment gets a direct optical connection with this 1.0-metre Nedis cable. It has a TosLink male plug at each end, so it’s intended to link two devices with matching TosLink sockets. That makes it a straightforward option when you’re joining nearby components and want an optical audio cable rather than a longer run. The cable is grey, which is a practical detail if you prefer your connections to be visible instead of blending into a dark cabinet. Its short length is the main thing to plan around: the devices need to be close enough for the cable to reach without stretching. For a simple connection between equipment already positioned near one another, that can keep the route neat and easy to follow.
Both ends use the same connector, so there’s no different plug to account for at either device. Check the sockets on the two pieces of equipment you want to connect: this cable’s TosLink plugs are for TosLink connections. Once you’ve identified a suitable pair of devices, the 1.0-metre length gives you a clear limit for where they can sit relative to one another. It’s a modest reach, not a cable for spanning a room or routing between distant shelves.
That makes this a focused choice for a compact setup: the purpose is simple, and the connection type is named directly in the product. If your devices are already within reach and have TosLink sockets, you can use the cable to make that optical audio link without adding a different connector type to the setup. The grey finish may also help you spot the cable when tracing connections behind your equipment. One honest point: measure the route you need before settling on a one-metre cable, especially if the cable has to travel around furniture or along a cabinet rather than straight between devices.
