Nedis Power Cable | Type F (Cee 7/7) Male | IEC-320-C13 | 10.0 M | PVC | Black

Nedis Power Cable | Type F (Cee 7/7) Male | IEC-320-C13 | 10.0 M | PVC | Black | Reach an outlet farther away

Without a long lead, equipment has to sit near the outlet or depend on another extension. This Nedis power cable gives you a 10-metre run, with a Type F (CEE 7/7) male plug at one end and an IEC-320-C13 connection at the other. It suits a setup that uses those connections and needs more distance between the power point and the equipment. That could be a desk, workbench or studio where the nearest outlet isn’t right beside the kit. The cable is black and made from PVC, with a straightforward, practical purpose: getting power across a longer gap. One honest point: extra reach also means more cable to route and manage if your setup only needs a short connection. Choose it for the distance, rather than for a tidier cable run.

Planning the cable run

Before choosing a place for your equipment, measure the path the cable will actually take. A route around furniture or along the edge of a room can use more length than measuring straight across the space. Think about where the cable will pass, too, so it doesn’t end up stretched across a walkway or pulled tight around a corner. With a 10-metre cable, you have room to place equipment farther from the outlet, but a little planning helps make good use of that reach. If the intended route is much shorter, consider where the spare length can sit without getting in the way. Keep the cable’s two connector types in mind when planning which end goes where.
