Nedis Satellite & Antenna Cable F-Male F-Male 75 ? Double Shielded 2 M Round

Nedis Satellite & Antenna Cable F-Male F-Male 75 Ohm Double Shielded 2 M Round | A tidy link for satellite and antenna connections

The defining choice is the cable’s double shielding: it has two shielding layers around the signal path, a practical design detail for a cable used with satellite and antenna connections. This Nedis lead has an F-male connector at each end, so it’s made to connect equipment with matching F-female sockets. Its 75-ohm rating is specified for the cable, and the 2-metre length suits a connection where the equipment sits within that reach. The cable is white, which can blend more quietly with a light wall or cabinet than a dark lead. For a straightforward connection between nearby pieces of equipment, the useful point is that the key details are clear: F-male ends, 75 ohm, and a defined length. It’s a specific cable for a specific kind of connection, rather than a general-purpose lead.

Planning the connection

Before choosing a cable length, think through the route from one device to the other, including any detour around a cabinet or along a wall. The stated length is 2 metres, so allow for the actual path rather than measuring only the gap between the devices. This helps avoid finding that the cable needs to stretch tightly or falls short once it’s in place. The F-male plugs are at both ends, so the connection points need to accept those plugs. Hand-tighten the connectors carefully and keep the cable’s path relaxed; a neat route is easier to manage than a lead pulled taut. The round cable format gives it a conventional cable shape for routing along a surface or behind equipment. White is a handy detail if the cable will remain visible against a pale background. If your equipment has the matching F sockets and the route fits within 2 metres, this gives you the connector type and length in one clearly specified cable.
