Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 2X RCA M-2X RCA M 5.0m BK

Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 2X RCA M-2X RCA M 5.0m BK | Connect stereo audio with room to spare

The defining choice here is the 5.0-metre length: it gives you room to connect audio equipment without needing the components to sit right beside each other. This Nedis stereo-audio cable has two male RCA plugs at each end, for connecting equipment with matching RCA sockets. It suits a simple stereo audio connection at home or in another setup where the cable needs to span some distance. The black finish keeps the cable visually low-key. If your equipment has the right RCA connections, its purpose is refreshingly clear: carry a stereo audio connection from one device to another. One honest point: 5 metres gives you flexibility, but it also means you’ll want to plan the route so the extra cable doesn’t end up in your way.

A simple connection to plan

Before setting up, decide where each piece of equipment will sit and where the cable can run between them. The pair of RCA plugs at either end makes this a two-channel stereo connection, so the cable links a stereo output to a stereo input when both devices have matching sockets. Keep the connection path in mind if the equipment is on separate shelves or placed with some distance between it; a little planning can make the finished setup neater. This cable is for carrying audio between compatible connections, rather than serving as a general-purpose lead for other types of socket. If you’re replacing an existing cable, compare the plugs and the required reach with your current arrangement. Its role is straightforward, and that’s useful when all you need is a direct stereo link.
