Nedis Telecom Cable | RJ11 Male | 10.0 M | Flat | Gold Plated | RJ11 | White | A longer route for your telephone connection

Run a telephone connection farther across a room or along a chosen route with this 10.0 m Nedis Telecom Cable. It has an RJ11 male connector, so it’s intended for setups that use an RJ11 connection. The flat white cable gives you a low-profile shape to route around a room, while the gold-plated detail is part of the connector specification. This is a straightforward option when the device and telephone point aren’t close together and you need more reach than a short lead provides. Its 10-metre length gives you room to plan a route around furniture or along an edge rather than pulling the cable tight across the most direct path. Before laying it, take the route you actually want and allow for turns; a measured path can be longer than the distance between the two ends. The simple thing to keep in mind is that the connector and the sockets at your setup need to match.

Planning the cable route

A flat cable can be easier to position neatly along a surface than a round cable, particularly where you want it to follow a room edge. Think through the route before connecting it: around a doorway, behind a desk or beside a skirting board can add distance quickly. Keep enough slack at each end for the equipment to sit where you need it, rather than using every centimetre on the route itself. The 10.0 m length gives you a generous span to work with, but the final placement still depends on the path you choose. If you’re replacing an existing lead, comparing its connector with this RJ11 male end is a sensible starting point.
