Nedis Ultra High Speed HDMI-Cable | 8K@60Hz | 48 Gbps | 5.00m | 8.3mm | Black

Nedis Ultra High Speed HDMI-Cable | 8K@60Hz | 48 Gbps | 5.00m | 8.3mm | Black | High-bandwidth HDMI for demanding 8K video links

What sets this Nedis cable apart is its stated 48 Gbps bandwidth alongside support for 8K at 60Hz. It suits a setup where you want an HDMI cable specified for high-resolution video, rather than a basic lead for a more modest connection. The 5.00m length gives you room to place connected equipment apart, while the listed 8.3mm measurement is worth keeping in mind when planning the route. It’s black, so it won’t draw much attention alongside dark equipment or behind a cabinet. Use it to link HDMI-equipped devices in your own setup, taking the cable’s stated capabilities as a starting point rather than assuming every connected device will use them. Your source and display also need to support the video format you want. For a demanding 8K connection, that’s the practical detail to consider before you decide where the cable should run.

Planning the cable route

Before connecting everything, trace the route from one device to the other, including the path around furniture or along a wall. Measure that route rather than relying on the straight-line distance between the devices; bends and changes in direction take up extra length. Leave enough slack at each end to reach the HDMI ports without pulling the cable tight. That makes it easier to move equipment for cleaning or access later, and helps avoid putting strain on the connections. Think about where the cable will cross a walkway or sit behind a cabinet, too. A little planning can make the finished setup tidier and save you from repositioning your gear after everything is plugged in.
