Nedis USB 2.0 USB-A Male-to-Male Cable, 2 m, Black | A direct USB-A connection with extra reach

The defining choice here is the 2 m length: it gives you more room to route a cable than a short lead, without adding anything complicated to the setup. Nedis has fitted this USB 2.0 cable with a USB-A male connector at each end, for linking two suitable USB-A connection points. That makes it a specific match for setups that call for this male-to-male arrangement, rather than a cable with different plugs at either end. The stated transfer rate is 480 Mbps, a useful figure when comparing it with the needs of your equipment. One honest note: a listed rate doesn’t mean every connected setup will achieve that speed. The cable is black, with nickel-plated connectors, so its appearance stays understated alongside other equipment. For desk use or a fixed installation, the two-metre reach can help when the connection points aren’t close together.

When choosing a cable, the connector at each end is the first detail to match. This one has USB-A male plugs, so the connection points need to accept USB-A plugs; also make sure those points are intended to be linked by a cable. The name “USB-Cable” can be read as a reference to USB-C, but the connector format specified for this product is USB-A at both ends. That distinction is worth keeping in mind when comparing cable names or shopping from a list of accessories. USB 2.0 identifies the standard given for this cable, while 480 Mbps is the rate stated in the product title. If your setup calls for that connector arrangement and a two-metre run, these details give you a clear basis for deciding whether it fits.
