Nedis VGA-Cable VGA M VGA M Nickel Plated Max Resolutie 1280x768 10.0m ABS

Nedis VGA Cable, 10 m | A male-to-male VGA connection

What sets this Nedis cable apart is its 10-metre length: it gives you more room to position the two pieces of equipment you’re connecting than a short desk cable. It’s a straightforward option when both devices have VGA sockets and you need a male plug at each end. The stated maximum resolution is 1280 × 768, so that’s the figure to use when deciding whether it suits your display setup. Its VGA connectors are nickel-plated, and the cable is made with ABS. This isn’t a cable with a range of adapters or extra functions; its purpose is simply to make a VGA connection over a longer distance. If your setup calls for VGA and the stated resolution works for you, the useful point here is the extra reach without changing the connection type.

Getting the connection right

Both ends are VGA male, so this cable is intended to plug into VGA female sockets. That’s worth checking when planning a connection: the connector type at each end needs to match the sockets on the equipment. The 10-metre length can help when the devices aren’t close together, though it’s still sensible to plan the cable route before you connect them. Keep the stated maximum resolution in mind as well; it gives you a clear limit for choosing this cable for a particular display setup. The description is deliberately simple: VGA at both ends, a 10-metre cable, and a stated maximum resolution of 1280 × 768. If those details match what you need, there’s no adapter or other connection format to factor into the choice.
